Support and Administrative Staff

Currently, seeking qualified candidates for the following support position:


Medical Records Clerk (Full-time)


Responsibilities include: 

Utilize the clinic Electronic Health Record system for scanning, importing, logging, retrieving, assigning, and categorizing patient medical records and clinical information as assigned. Various other clerical duties as assigned.

 

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with Windows 7 or later.
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely.
  • Strong data entry and typing skills.
  • Accurate use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Experience using Electronic Health Record software systems.
  • Ability to assess, analyze, and categorize documents quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to maintain focus and work independently. 
  • Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, providers, and management.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle priorities effectively in a high pressure environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Previous work in health care field preferred, preferably in a clinic setting.
  • Familiarity with the components of a patient medical record.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and PDF management.
  • Medical Terminology.

Education:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required

Physicians

Currently seeking an Internal Medicine Physician.

Nursing

Seeking a professional and friendly qualified certified medical assistant (CMA) with a minimum of two years experience

Duties include: 

  • Greeting and preparing patients for medical examination.
  • Screening patients for appropriate information.
  • Maintains and updates patient information as necessary. 
  • Prepares equipment and assist provider during examination.
  • Instructs patients according to providers directions.
  • Clean and restock exam rooms as appropriate between patients.
  • Assists providers in completing medical record documentation as directed.
  • Oversees providers appointment schedule. 
  • Performs telephone follow up.
  • Assist providers as required and directed. 

Experience with triage of patient phone calls necessary. Knowledge of HIPAA required and a knowledge of Centricity would be helpful but not required.
